3 p.m. Check In, 3:30 p.m. Walk
Our annual fundraising event consists of a 1-mile paved, accessible walk and a 3-mile walk.
Both begin and end at Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin under a colorful arch of balloons.
The fun, family-friendly 3-mile walk features part of the Franklin trail system and includes the Franklin College walkway.
A water station is featured near the chapel on the Franklin College campus.
Why Walk
Help Feed Families
Proceeds from the Harvest Walk benefit the volunteer-run Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County, which serves more than 700 households a week. These are your neighbors.
Be With Family, Friends, Dogs
We appreciate all the individuals and families who participate in the walk. Dogs on leashes are welcome, too! We invite our church partners to create teams for the walk – the more the merrier! Also, this is a great wellness activity for businesses or community groups.
Stay for More Fun After the Walk
NEW for 2024! Registration is at 3:00 p.m. and both the 1-mile and 3-mile walks will begin at 3:30 p.m. When the walk is over, the fun continues! Plan to bring a bag chair, and following the walk, stay to be entertained by the '60s and '70s music of Retro Brothers, play lawn games and enjoy refreshments all while supporting the pantry's mission to alleviate hunger in Johnson County.
