A world without hunger.

News-Traffic-ChangesTraffic Changes for Food Pick-Up

Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County

As of March 1, 2023, the City of Franklin is enforcing traffic laws that require the following changes:

a. No parking or waiting in street turn lanes on Commerce Drive.

b. No stopping or waiting on Commerce Drive.

c. Violators may be ticketed.

Please cooperate with the Franklin Police and the pantry as we make the following adjustments:

a. Residents from outside Johnson County will be served one time only effective immediately. Our mission is to eliminate hunger in Johnson County and we will return to that practice. Pantries in neighboring counties can be found on the Community Compass app, www.in211.communityos.org or by calling 211.

b. Vehicles will be permitted to enter our parking lot at 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and at 8:00 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month.

c. Please do not park and wait in neighboring businesses parking lots.

d. Please do not form a waiting line in the turning lane.

e. Consider coming to the pantry for your groceries later during our hours of operation when the wait is not as long.

f. Only enter the parking lot when there is a car space to do so.

g. Do not block traffic on Commerce Drive by stopping in the roadway.

Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe. We are here to serve Johnson County and appreciate everyone making these necessary adjustments.
